Unfiltered Audio in general in my opinion. Then there is Arturia's Fragments and ColdFire.

To be honest, though, I'm really keen on getting my hands on the new StudioRack "now with VST" version, if the rumours are true. That means you'd be able to use just about any plugin in variety of configurations and come up with something quite unique.

Now that sounds like it has huge creative potential.

I'll admit, I'm a bit confused about this; can't you already do something very similar with most DAW's built-in functionality? FL Studio has Patcher, Ableton has Effect Racks, Bitwig has Containers, etc. Maybe there's more to it than I'm aware of?

Bitwig is very good for this. You can create a serial chain of fx, but also split into layers and recombine. Very easy to drop an fx in a container and instantly get a mix knob - so many handy things like that. Can create a group and drop in a send just for that group.

On top of that a lot of really awesome modulation tools that you can make to basically anything.

I don't really click with things like BYOME or Infiltrator as the quality level of the fx aren't up to the standard of fidelity/tone that other fx I've hunted tracked down over time are at.

Bitwig, really let's me construct some very good fx chains, with some 'modularity' and also keep the tone of the fx that I really like. So Bitwig, with the fx I have, is probably my secret weapon.

Not every DAW can do this and the solutions aren't cross compatible with other DAWs. So if you're one of those who work with several DAWs you can create configurations in StudioRack and they will be interchangeable.

That has a lot of value for people.

studiorack looks great - I had not seen it before. Like BlueCat Patchwork - but free! (have not played with it yet tho to see how good it actually is in practise)

I got this new Supermodal filter from Polyverse, it's pretty cool imo (if you like filtering stuff).
The UI is typically fancy since it's polyverse, it works well though. :tu:

Sounds amazing. I like a slick UI too. Although slick, it all seems to be useful and not too garish (eg. Beatskillz). I wonder if this will propogate to the distributors (eg. audio deluxe, jrr, etc)

They’re offering it for $49, while it’s in beta, $99 on release. Not sure if distributors will have it during beta.

Really lovely UI and super rich tones.

looks too good to pass up - which I decided to do with the ShaperBox upgrade. So really I virtually got Supermodal for free

Very interested in Supermodal.
Very likely buy it.

1.Hope it is multi-touch capable.

2. Would be great if it has randomization similar to the Andy's HomeGrown Audio Kontakt instruments.

All squares buttons with an R randomizes.

I have asked AudioDeluxe, waiting for an answer.

On another note, Polyverse finally added scalable GUI!
I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies.
