I didn't realize he posted these in the changelogs. That's good. I was holding back adding them because I didn't want a bunch of people bugging Dmitry.

I think I'm going to update the site so that each product gets its own page, like on clapdb.tech. That will make the product notes more obvious.

Nope, it's not.
And based on the rude response I got from PA tech support, I suspect it never will be.

Doesn't look like Lindell Audio is up to the task.
lol I got a rude response from PA tech support on me asking when will Lindell and the rest of their plugins be AS native too.
Not able to check this myself as I don't have a subscription but I was told on a FB post that the Lindell plugins are available in Beta to XXL Subscribers so hopefully they are coming.
I feel like they've been gaslighting us about the Lindell Audio plugins all year.
This is the third or fourth time in the last 6 months that I've seen a vague reference to some social media post (without providing links), claiming that the Lindell Audio plugins are mere days away. But it's been just a lot of false hope, and they never materialize.

Question for you. Kush plugins. I have a few that show up in Ableton 11, on an M1 Mac, but ElectraDSP and REDDI for example don't show up. I've rescanned, it doesn't seem to be an ilok issue as they are all on the same subscription. Any thoughts on why this might be? Is Electra different from the newer ones like AR-1 and Silika and the Hammer?

At the same time, they all show up and work in Cubase 12 on the same machine.

telio - would you consider adding an RSS feed to the site?

Yeah. I already have this for clapdb.tech, so that's a simple ask. I'll roll this out with the update that moves to product info pages, along with developer and category slugs (vs IDs in the URL).

There are no native Kush plugins. Unless you launch it in Rosetta mode, Ableton cannot load non-native VSTs. Only AUs. Cubase 12 launches in Rosetta mode by default. If you launch it in Native mode, those plugins will disappear.

Some of my Kush plugins, like one of the Omega's, don't even run with rosetta...

Nevermind, they all showed up eventually :hihi:

i don't think he's tracking updates after something is already native.

Correct, as explained on the front page. That would be nearly impossible to keep up with.

An article from Production Expert about silicon native Pro Tools:

"Plugin developers are now testing with Apple Silicon builds of Pro Tools. We have the details."
"We know from developers we have spoken to that the Alpha build is pretty stable. Some have their entire plugin catalogue already working and ready for Pro Tools when it ships for Apple Silicon.

"One developer told us;

“We’ve had initial versions of AAX Universal Binaries across the portfolio for a while. They have been ready and waiting for Avid’s first Apple Silicon native release for some time, so we were pleased to find they ran first time. Performance of the beta has been surprisingly good, and we look forward to continue testing throughout the coming weeks. We’re anticipating being ready to go on day one, if not before.”

"One told us that they were being encouraged to do so by Avid. So expect to start seeing Universal Binaries for AAX plugins starting to appear before the Silicon version of Pro Tools, although of course the Silicon versions will not run until Avid has released a Silicon version of Pro Tools."

And this I find notable:
Pro Tools will run natively by default. In this mode, any Intel versions of the plugins will not load, the user will not be informed of this but instead will find the Intel versions missing. If users need to run older Intel versions of plugins they will need to run Pro Tools in Rosetta mode."

I hope that will encourage developers like Kush and Audio Ease to finally make their plugins m1 native.
