Character Multiband compressor like Trash 2?

[Echoes in the Attic]

I always liked Trash for it's multiband compressor, it was my go to for years. I don't use the distortion as much, or the other elements so it was a bit more featured than I need, and also now that it's being discontinued maybe it's time to look elsewhere.

Any MP Compressors that you find to have character like Trash?

I think I can already do the same in bitwig band splitter rack. But I just liked the sound of the trash compressor.

Trash might be being discontinued but it doesn’t mean it will stop working

Check out Toneboosters multiband compressor. It’s relatively new and really good. Compression, expansion. saturation and imaging per band.

Not the same, but you can Bezerker in MultiMod or StudioRack offers quite a bit of sound sculpting flexibility.
