New desktop computer -> These components good (together)? Some advice needed

Yeah, this laptop has only been a temporary solution. I bought Cubase in July 2021 when it was 40% off, but I had to install it on my laptop because my old desktop computer has Windows 7 and Cubase no longer supports it. So far, I've mostly only used Cubase to program beats and timestretch various audio drum loops to slower BPM so I can practice beats more easily over the original recordings.
Sometimes I play VSTi synths, piano and strings, but I haven't tried to start building any songs. This laptop can't even play the demo song that came with Cubase (not even when I set the RME Fireface UCX II's buffer size to large).

With more powerful CPU you can use 96kHz or more and will have lower the latency.

I have no idea, probably no gap, you should buy another case.
The DeepCool CK560 I mentioned in the first post is not expensive
and have 175mm for CPU clearance.

Thanks for the case suggestions. But I think I found one today that seems to fit me perfectly and I like the look: be quiet! Silent Base 802. It can be a closed system or you can remove the solid front and top panels and replace them with mesh panels.

I also posted a message on a Finnish computer forum, which has its own section for the cooling discussion. This ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II was also recommended in the forum by several. When I wrote that I might get the Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB, someone pointed out that the 280 is just as efficient, so I researched a bit by watching a few videos on youtube and it really seems that the 280 A-RGB would even sometimes outperform the 360 A-RGB. It seems a bit odd but it suits me if true...

Now I just have to ask you since you recommended the 420 version, what are your thoughts when comparing the 280 vs. the 420 (or 360) for use with the 13700K processor? I.e. will the 280 be able to cool down enough the 13700K when it's been given tough tasks (so the 280 won't compromise 13700K's potential)?

I am glad to help, but there is no escape, you must update the BIOS for all brands.
I am an ex IT guy, built hundreds of PCs/ETC and never had any problem with BIOS update.

Well, I've done some configuration stuff with BIOSes, I think, years ago. Maybe I even have updated a BIOS, but I can't remember it anymore. So I guess I'm pretty ok with this though.

It is a good case and fits the Arctic 420mm in the front.

The Arctic 120mm RGB fan still have some resonance problem, the 140mm RGB
fan is more silent.
The 420mm radiator has more surface to exchange the heat, so you can use the
fans at lower speed, they all can cool the 13700K, but the 420mm is more silent.

Yeah, I've thought about it a bit more now and came to the conclusion that I can pay a little extra (€29, compared to the 280 version) for a slightly quieter cooler and I'll take the 420 version. Thanks for explaining things!
