Hi,

I've bought a cable on Amazon to connect Sennheiser Momentum 4 to my Mac Mini but it doesn't fit.
It seems to be 3.5mm while Headphones need 2.5mm.

I found an adapter like this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/374264461...BlBMUJCy1MOEYQ

Can anyone help me selecting proper option? There is option End 1 and End 2.

and just to make sure, I won't be losing on audio quality right?

Thanks.

link doesnt work

according to the manual, these come with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable.

but arent these bluetooth, so primarily wireless?

Bluetooth isn’t really good for production :(
And they come with a very short cable while I need 3m.

Okay, I see that now.

So if your cable is 3.5mm plugs on each end, and presumably stereo (ie 3 connections), one end plugs straight into the Mac, and the other end you want an adaptor that will adapt that 3.5mm plug to a 2.5mm plug for the headphones, also presumably stereo.

So given those assumptions, an adaptor that has a 2.5mm stereo plug (aka 'male'), and a 3.5mm stereo socket (aka 'female')

However

That's not going to allow you to use the mic on the headphones. But then again I dont know if you want to. I also dont think the Mac Mini headphone socket is also a mic input, though I could be wrong; you'd have to confirm that yourself, checking the info for your particular Mac Mini model.

If the headphones pass the mic output via the 2.5mm socket as well, it'll have 4 connections. So a stereo cable with only 3 wires wont pass that signal. Check the supplied cable, you'll need to confirm how many connectors it has on each end.

MacBookPro headphone sockets are similar to those on phones: 3.5mm TRRS, so the mic is on an extra ring. Does the MacMini have 2.5mm or 3.5mm?

I'd just use bluetooth. It's not so bad I think.

I do not care about microphone.
I’m using bluetooth but the lag israel.

Then you can buy a regular 10ft headphone extension cord with 3.5mm male & female on either end. Plug in the short cable of the headphone and secure that somehow.
