As you've done the work, I should credit you in the updated manual for the implementation... under what name do you want to be credited?Spitfire31 wrote: Thu Oct 06, 2022 12:23 pm https://we.tl/t-aXKpmBkCoq

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Sure, thanks.
Do y'all really want these on the bells and shakers, though? As there's normally no way to hit the bells with two sticks, like a cowbell mounted on a drum kit, being restricted to one finger is realistic.
(OK, it's also realistic to restrict things to one octave in drums that are played with one stick and one hand, and the dondo, but... "this works on drums but not bells and shakers" is a simple rule to remember.)

Update now in Pulse - for the drums only, not bells or shakers, but I could still be talked into doing a 1.002 update...
As for the Gogodze Phu, that also sounds like a good idea... they're open source and on Github, so one of y'all can do a pull request if you don't want to wait for me to get around to doing an update.

That's great. Personally I don't care about authenticity so have added it to bells and shakers. And it's not necessarily about playing it as if it was "two-handed" so much as being able to play alternate fingers on the keyboard as playing a keyboard is a very different feel to hitting something with a stick (also improves speed).

We now also have a storewide-ish sale until November 28th, so the intro price for Ghana Drums remains the same until then, but if you want the whole Ghana bundle with Nanfo and the four vocal libraries also, it's now $79 instead of $169. And the rest of the stuff in the bundle, like all our other $39 libraries, are now $19 each as well.

Thanks.
A reminder that the intro price (along with the sale prices on our other libraries which are on sale) ends on November 28th. I'll set them to full sometime Tuesday morning. Don't count on me sleeping late.
Also, here's a track that uses several instruments from this, also some from Nanfo, Beefowulf Bass and Hadzi-Fia.

The singer has taken that track off Youtube sometime in the past two years, but I've kept using these drums and whenever I wanted something relatively "normal" to take the bass drum space a kick would normally take up, I've always ended up using the gome. So I thought, why not try to really use it as a kick, and after updating Nanfo and adding the gonje, thought we should record more samples of the gome. So version 1.1 adds more samples played the traditional way, plus the main thing I wanted: samples played with a kick pedal, in muted and unmuted versions, with fifteen velocity layers and mostly eight round robins (but three for the bottom layer and sixteen for the top). Miked more like a kick, too, with close out and batter-side mics. Here's a video explaining the upgrade.
Free upgrade to existing users, should show up in Pulse Downloader if you open it. Also doing a discounted price to $19 again, until October 25 this time.
