Damn, I’m jealous! I’ve been wanting one but obviously spent too much on Pulsar 23 and need to figure out the Mindphaser decision (to keep or let go.. but if I let go, I’ll likely never be able or be willing to buy it again).

was looking for something to celebrate rubys birth, and spend some cash on me before it all goes on my girls
and while i wanted it anyway, it wasnt a major rush, then i watched this weeks make noise video, and one part he made it sound like an angry r2 unit, and rubadub had it...


cheaper than i was expecting too, i was expecting 500 maybe more, was only 420 there abouts!!

Congrats on Ruby! Now you just need Make Noise to make a Ruby module to go alongside Rosie.

BTW.. the only thing I've bought this year was MU's Blinds.

yeah, these first ones, lots of wtf moments but im starting to get more at home with what does what and will work for my needs.
definitely a lot of range, and the sub oscillator is divine

Portabellabz sent me another image showing the progress on my Music Easel clone over the weekend.


It's coming to me in a Samodular case but I'm going to put it in one of these cases eventually: https://waste.org/~knobs/buchla_easel_cases.html, then I will use the Samodular case for other 200 series clone modules. The Halliburton cases have a year long lead time, so I'll be waiting for a bit.

Yeah, I always liked the sub-osc on the SPO, especially when mixed with the other waveforms. I bet the X-Pan is a great companion for the XPO, for stereo waveshape mixing.

8u modules are easy, 9 is 6+3, there's various handy things in 6u, and eg Zlob do a 3HP LFO module...
