FL Studio bug: VSTi ends up in mixer channel (instead of Channel Rack)

when I try to load four VSTi's I recently installed into the Channel Rack they show up in the mixer instead. The intended slot in the Channel Rack changes to 'Sampler' but has no function.

*all four recently installed VSTi's show this behaviour (which means it is not a bug in them)
*all four do work properly in another DAW (even more proof that they are not faulty)
*VSTi's previously installed and scanned by FL Studio do show this behaviour, all works normal

*I have been scanning my plugin-folders with FL Studio without verification for a long time since that stalls the scanning-process. I cannot use this function, so this cannot be a solution for me. Up till now this way of doing things generated no problems.

I was wondering: can I indicate FL Studio manually for this/these wrongly operating VSTi's to load it into the Channel Rack by editing its .fst and/or .nfo file? And/or would this be possible by editing the VerifiedID.nfo ? Does anybody know about this?

Any other suggestion is welcome.

Thanks a bunch!

… I found the solution to my problem: it is possible to indicate synth/effect to any plugin using the plugin scanner in FL Studio. This worked out (after updating the newly generated .fst files). Case closed!
