I'm not good with multiquote, so i try to reply to everyone
First of all, i wanna say thanks people who enjoy my effort, because it take a lot of time into doing it, and the appreciacion, is the only reward i get from these videos, but it's a passion i have and i wanna share, like people who go out to play football. If someone think everyone with a ball make money, it probably doesn't know how things work. So everytime a video is useful for real to someone it's what make me satisfied.
@Tblake I understand your point of view, but you are assuming everyone on youtube it's just a liar and a salesman. And usually this can be true. If you wanna take the time to give a look at my channel, i made a video, something like "do not trust youtubers" but please don't watch it, i don't wanna think i'm trying to make money from your time, i'll just give you a short sentence about that video.
In that video (plus a comment i made on another one) i say that once i started to review plugins, i noticed other youtubers (i was already following) that made reviews by the same plugin, had a very different way to showcase it, but not in a technical way, but i.e. i remember a plugin that sounded bad, really bad, and was even very expensive. My review was pretty negative, while his review was super positive. In a livestream of this youtuber, not related on this plugin, he told to review only if he are being paid, and that was revealing. I also noticed other youtubers doesn't talk about very noticiable issues. You can check my videos (i made 2) about Acustica Smoke. That plugin was really bad full of issues ( i don't know if they fixed later, but i hope so ). I didn't find at the time any other review about this plugin that talked about that noticiable issues. But that's just an example, there are others, but this post it's already too long.
I felt different youtubers to be just positive, as you say, salesman, and that's why i felt the importance to continue what i do, cause i'm not like that, and my idea is to make a kind of safespot.
At the end of my video, i say to do not trust me neither, cause i know i'm honest, but you cannot, you have my word, as i have other youtubers words, so the right approach is to make an idea yourself and try the plugin if you like it, and decide by yourself.
About money on youtube: My channel is not eligible yet for it, cause you need 1000 subs that i have but also 4000hours of view in the last 365 days that i'm very far from.
If i wanted to make money from youtube, i would take tits and asses from tiktok, then repost it on youtube as shorts. I see different channel that are doing this, they make more view with 20 secs tits video than my whole channel. If you wanna make money there are better way that require less efforts, a lot less.
My channel for now has been only a cost. Taking a part the time to test, record everything, and to make a video (and learning how to do it), i bought a camera, cause my smartphone is old, and not good enough for that. I was looking for a cheap second hand camera, because it's just an expense for an hobby. But i payed few hundreds of euros. Unfortunatly this camera have issues with focus, and i have to change it with a better one, so it was even a bad purchase, and i have to spend from 600 to 700 to buy one i know it work good.
I also made a kind of raising fund on my ko-fi for that camera, cause as i told it's just about passion i like to share, so some help is always welcome. Apart from a guy (that i thank a lot) no one else have helped. And that's fine, i mean everyone put their money where they think it worth. But i will buy the camera as soon as i can ( i hope in black friday ) cause i want to give to viewers an overall better experience while watching my videos.
So dear tblake, i feel you, we don't even think it different, as youtuber i also have "the proof" not for a court, but for me, that some youtubers are salesman, but this doesn't mean it's the same for everyone.
I also had a very bad mail exchange with a company because of a bad review months ago, as i explain in my video.
Few days after my video about youtubers, i had another mail exchange with another company, that i had to reject their offer because they wanted me to be their "free advertiser" i'm not a free advertiser, i wanna be free to share my free opinion. If they want me to advertise a product there is no problem, but will be written that it's an ads, not undercovered as an usual video.
Otherwise i'm more than happy to test their plugins (that i do regardless) and share my thoughts.
I got no more reply from them.
My business is not youtube, i don't earn even 1 cent from it. Would be nice ofc i need to eat as everyone else, and have an extra incoming would be awesome.
But as i told to the company, i believe in healthy business, i believe into respect people, i do not sell myself. Everything must be on the light of the sun.
