Hi all, I'm new on here. I've been away form music production for over 12 years. I used to play around with UK Hardcore. However, now I'm picking it all back up and learning it all again, I'm leaning towards trance (uplifting and psytrance). Whilst I'm still learning, I'm looking for the best FREE plugins to help with Trance music production. Any advice, tips/tricks would also be appreciated. I'm using FL Studio 22 on windows. Thanks in advance.

FL Studio gives you a lot of great tools that can get you very far. I recommend using stock stuff for half a year or so and then decide on buying something if necessary.

Yes, they the stock stuff are great tools and I have been messing with them, so will continue to do so regardless if I download any others. 3osc is one that I have always liked to use.

I double that recommendation. It sounds very nice for the genre (and for anything else really).

Sounds better to me than most of the payware phasers I tested. The only one which beats it IMO is Softube Fix Phaser.

FL Studio stock plugins and Vital is all you really need to start out producing Trance.
The stock plugins are imo better than most free stuff.
