HI Viktor, I know the answer cause you have told me elsewhere, but with additional XY programming and now drag and drop, some users may lose some of their favourites if they reinstall the updated patches for banks they already have installed and favourited.
Would be nice if the clear instructions how not to lose them will be included in the the package somewhere.

The updated soundsets will be delivered in a way that won't mess with existing versions of the same set.
The trick is, we won't install them into the root of the User area (where I assume you keep your original versions of the soundsets), but into a subfolder named "Legacy".
That way you have both old a new version, you still have your old favourites, and you can switch to the new versions if and when you desire.

So, will the Z Legacy product be around for a while, or just a short transitionary period until Z3? And will it continue to receive bug fixes/compatibility patches for a while, or just be sold as-is until claimed by bit rot?

Just to clarify for those that can't see zvenx's screenshot because they're not logged in here:FrogsInPants wrote: Wed Nov 02, 2022 4:50 pm So, will the Z Legacy product be around for a while, or just a short transitionary period until Z3? We will maintain Zebra2 for many years to come. It will exist side by side with its successor (whenever that's ready and released).

Nothing changes for ZebraCM nor for Zebralette. The former will continue to be magware, the latter will continue to be part of the Zebra2 installer (then Zebra Legacy installer).
Zebra 3 will have its own Zebralette at some point, at least that's the plan currently.

A free update, lots of new (to me) patches, and CLAP and M1 support. I love U-He. And I love it when purchases I made (Zebra, Zebra 2, and Dark Zebra) bring dividends in later years.
All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.

I’m afraid the sentence “many years…”
