8u modules are easy, 9 is 6+3, there's various handy things in 6u, and eg Zlob do a 3HP LFO module...

ive been thinking...
i do also have some passive attenuators that could easily be replaced with koma attenuator cables i think that's another 8? not sure there's anything else im willing or ready to let go yet?

I would love an 8U case for the 2600 to set down inside. All the racks I've seen have it vertical for a desk, but above my Sequential is where it will stay. I wish there was a case with a dust cover!
Biggest desire now would be an interface with 8 line ins going to the rear to get the wires off my desk!
More desk space means more toys like an Elekron box or sequencer.

I scored an Octatrack mk2 during Perfect Circuit's halloween sale.




I'm going to need a stand to make the Rytm easier to reach. I've been looking at these from fonik. https://www.fonik.co.uk/products/origin ... our-2-tier
Looks like a Octatrack would work okay on the bottom level.

I was looking at that one but it doesn't look like an Octatrack will fit nicely, since it doesn't have the same shape/size as the ARmk2/A4mk2. The Fonic stands have a flat platform, so it looks like the OTmk2 might work on the bottom row (since the bottom isn't as slanted, it probably won't slide out). But Since Fonik also does custom work, I may ask them to make something for me.

Yeah, that makes sense. I didn't realize that the OT mk2 has different dimensions than the other two mk2s.

i don't have this module, but the erica bits i have are awesome! well built and the knobs all feel really smooth (grrr it's not easy to discuss this stuff without knowing it's quotable out of context from the start) but not loose.
the polivoks filter screams like a demon too

Yes, the only slightly iffily built Erica Synths module I have is the Graphic VCO, the knobs come off the spindle with very little coaxing so I have to be careful not to lose them when moving the rack around. Have the kick and a hi hat module and they’re very solid.

ive been quite lucky really, not had any issues with any modules so far.
and as ive just ordered 2 more that mean my cases are more than filled (need to move shit before tomorrow i guess!) it probably will be a while before im buying any more... (famous last words...)
