Yeah, I know he posted on just about every forum around. But I figured there was no harm in sending out the CD.

So are you saying, I shouldn't spend out my advance quite yet?

I don't suppose it could hurt to send a CD... unless you get ripped off; I have no idea whether that kind thing happens. But something tells me it'd be smart to keep expectations, uh, on the reasonable side. ;-)

Of course, he might be a big roller who just happens to use an AOL addy to avoid seeming stuffy.

My guess is he is no bigwig, but maybe he knows other people and he act like a filter reviewing material and sending them stuff they are interested. That is probably being optimistic (or, perhaps naive?).
