If you have to cut a modulator from the list above, I would suggest that you could do without an LFO. Technically, when playing the LinnStrument, your fingers are the most effective LFO. To that end, one might argue that the envelope is redundant for the same reason, but using pressure to emulate an envelope response doesn't always work as needed.
