I know. A submission module is long overdue. But this is great!falkTX wrote: Tue Nov 01, 2022 12:16 am Hi again, I am here to bring you a reason to have external contributions.

As of https://github.com/DISTRHO/DPF-Plugins/ ... s/tag/v1.6 the DPF-Plugins collection now includes CLAP support.
To make things easy, let's say all plugins have version 1.6 and https://github.com/DISTRHO/DPF-Plugins as their homepage
(they are all for Mac, Windows, Linux; Free and OpenSource)
Audio Effects:
- 3BandEQ
- 3BandSplitter
- AmplitudeImposer
- CycleShifter
- MaBitcrush
- MaFreeverb
- MaGigaverb
- MaPitchshift
- MVerb
- PingPongPan
- SoulForce
Instruments:
- Kars
- Nekobi
Analyzers / Scope kind of plugins: (maybe goes in Utilities? otherwise in regular "Audio Effects"..?)
- glBars
- ProM
Quite a few of these are ports of other things, but done in DPF so they now get CLAP "for free".

(reposting from the thread in the DSP forum, I thought I was posting in this thread and you can't remove posts on KVR)
Not a plugin, but I released an update to yabridge yesterday that lets you use unported Windows CLAP plugins on Linux as if they were regular native Linux CLAP plugins, with full CLAP 1.1 functionality.
(though I do have a couple of plugins here that have had CLAP support since February this year
)

Would expect many more apps and developers jump on the bandwagon of CLAP.

You are not contributing to this discussion. You are only here to troll. One more and you'll be reported. This thread is for CLAP plugin submissions. Go away.Atlatnesiti wrote: Fri Nov 04, 2022 3:14 pm Wow, 4 months down and that’s all?

This is the first released code using Carla's CLAP support. Looking forward to Carla itself getting an official release with CLAP support.

I know phaseplant developer did show interest to support CLAP in a near future (people talked about it on their discord), thus one to look for.
Quite surprise Ableton and Reaper don't yet support CLAP.
However, I am using logic, so unsure if CLAP will be relevant to me anytime soon, apple like to do thing their own way.
I like such list, keep up the good work.

We're not supposed to talk about it. But if you want Clap support in Reaper, it can be found if you know where to look.

It's not surprising at all that Ableton doesn't yet support CLAP. Only Bitwig was involved in CLAP before its official release, and it's only been 4 months since then.AsgardBS wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 6:48 pm I know phaseplant developer did show interest to support CLAP in a near future (people talked about it on their discord), thus one to look for.

You can be sure that Apple DAWs will only ever support AU, and Steinberg only ever VST. Reaper is coming. For everyone else, it will be a question of what the market demands.

Looks beautiful!! How about some Linux love as well?
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Linux ports is one of my 2023 goals, so next year we'll start porting our framework and build system on linux
In the meantime: new CLAP port!
