Aside from a quickly resolved iLok problem, I haven't had any issues with plugins on macOS Ventura...except the two usual suspects: Roland Cloud and Korg Collection.

Has Roland said when an update is coming?

Roland Cloud keeps on resetting password on MacOS Ventura
I need to re-enter it every time I run it…

this is happening to me on Windows also. It started with the latest release, i think.

Roland has over 50 years of history to emulate, doubt they’ll be going away anytime soon.

To Roland's defense, perhaps their developers would and could add new instruments,synths etc.. but look at ALL these constant Apple issues.

Users want new development , yet support the main company ( apple ) that continues to break compatibility every few years.
It's a hard pill to swallow, I was a Mac user for years, not again.

I'd rather the OS stay out of my way. I can't remember a time in the last decade windows had a issue like All these Apple users ares are experiencing, just to make a vst work .

V-synth,JX Series, yeah sounds good, but it won't happen fast with the rate this cycle keeps repeating itself.

Oh no, if you say that they expect all apple development can be done in no time at no cost to adding features etc. I’ve made the point before. They just say “but whatabout plugin x that is fine on the latest MacOS release, Nipple?” ignoring that not every plugin is built the same.

I needed a new PC last year and came very close to getting an M1 Mac. What stopped me was all the silicone compatibility issues that seem to drag on.

Went with a Windows 11 PC that runs everything without issue. Maybe I'll look back into Mac in a few years. 

As for Roland Cloud, I'm happy with everything right now, but the updates I'm looking for are the Circuit Mod on the J8 ACB, and maybe a prettier GUI for the plugins in 4k.​

Weird. I've also been a Mac user for years and have never had an issue, including with Roland's drivers for the MX-1 and System-8. Maybe user error? Because I don't believe for a f**king second you haven't had any issues with Windows Either that or you're the most blessed person on the planet.

The relogin issue isn't an Apple issue, its an RCM issue. I've got it happening on a Windows machine and a Mac thats not running the newest OS.

I actually tried the M1 Mac, but it didn't hold a candle for multi core processing at low latency like I can run on either of my i9 rigs, so while they get alot of hype, real world is where I base my decisions.
Windows if in knowledgeable hands ( those who can build cpus ), experienced users windows issues, are a non issue.
Windows has been stable since XP64 for me. I'm sure plenty of other windows users can say the same thing.
Not to turn this into a I hate apple post, I don't, I love their ipads.

Though when it comes to desktop cpu's I'll always build a better cpu for a fraction of the price, and it will be alot more stable, because windows simply doesn't break compatibility with their new OS's, that's an apple thing, to push their narrative.

Right on, let’s get back to the “ I can’t get Roland cloud plugins to work on M1” posts. No problems with those, see how it works.

Anyways definitely hoping developers can eventually get back to actually building new synths, once this Mac stuff gets cleared up.

How many JD-800 sysex banks are there available online? Just wondering whether it's worth making a SYX to BIN convertor for the JD800, but if there's only a few banks around, it's probably not worth the effort... especially as the expansion PCM cards/banks are not in the plugin (which seems a strange omission...)

Please, create a JD800 SYX to BIN convertor, would be really nice, there's tons of banks available
