Tempting BF 2022.
If I get myself a boyfriend in 2022 I think the wife will probably kill me, though I always quite fancied the Hemsworth brothers...

your missus might welcome a third party in the boudoir?kritikon wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 5:41 am Tempting BF 2022.

I always thought that "Third Party Plugin" has a different meaning...

Y'know, I can see the advantages in that. We could both fiddle with knobs to our hearts' content.vurt wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 2:43 pmyour missus might welcome a third party in the boudoir?kritikon wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 5:41 am Tempting BF 2022.

If FabFilter will have Pro-Q3 for $29 I'll bite it. Damn, even at $49
Same for Smart:Comp.
This is the only type of offer that could convince me to buy smtg at BF.
Somehow, I don't expect anything spectacular for those who already have more than enough plugins.

Not exactly Pro-Q3 but you can have Kirchhoff EQ for $29 (technically $30) this month (which date is unknown) if you did join the Plugin Alliance Forever29 plan.pixel85 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:44 pm If FabFilter will have Pro-Q3 for $29 I'll bite it. Damn, even at $49Same for Smart:Comp.

I joined and got the $1 for any plugin voucher, then canceled the plan.
So I paid $29, waiting for Kirchhoff EQ release via Plugin Alliance this month and going to spend that voucher on it : )

That's what I think every year and, yet, somehow my bank account is missing a few hundred $$ after BF.pixel85 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:44 pm Somehow, I don't expect anything spectacular for those who already have more than enough plugins.

i usually come away with out spending much tbh, it's rare anything that's on my list makes the cut. and i grew up far too poor for impulse purchasescryophonik wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 7:11 pmThat's what I think every year and, yet, somehow my bank account is missing a few hundred $$ after BF.pixel85 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:44 pm Somehow, I don't expect anything spectacular for those who already have more than enough plugins.![]()

but a couple of years back, my pc and my mobile both died on black friday
which was doubly annoying because websites had queues and then f**k all stock as all the bargain hunters who didn't actually need a new computer or phone go out and buy them all because its black friday and you have to buy something!!!!

I hope it will be low priced after some time when they put it as a normal purchase.darkinners wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 1:56 pmNot exactly Pro-Q3 but you can have Kirchhoff EQ for $29 (technically $30) this month (which date is unknown) if you did join the Plugin Alliance Forever29 plan.pixel85 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:44 pm If FabFilter will have Pro-Q3 for $29 I'll bite it. Dunno, somehow, I don't wanna join PA sub, even just for a moment. I feel dirty just by thinking about it
I wonder how they will put it: as their standard PA plugin which will be $29 after a few months anyway, or as an extended option. In the case of the latter, I may actually do forever29 as you did.

I grew up under the communist boot. I couldn't catch the 'impulse (impulsive?) purchase' habit because there was nothing you could buy besides vinegar and vodka lolvurt wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 7:20 pmi usually come away with out spending much tbh, it's rare anything that's on my list makes the cut. and i grew up far too poor for impulse purchasescryophonik wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 7:11 pmThat's what I think every year and, yet, somehow my bank account is missing a few hundred $$ after BF.pixel85 wrote: Sun Nov 06, 2022 7:44 pm Somehow, I don't expect anything spectacular for those who already have more than enough plugins.![]()

It's not like I never did it because I collected a lot of digital junk. Fortunately for prices like $1, $5 or tenner. Plugins that cost over $100 in the promo are not tempting at all to me.
