Any update about vst3? Missed spire on my cubase 12

It's been over half a year from first Reveal's reactions already, so seems like VST3 will look more like a Christmas present

That would be nice. But did they give a time estimate?

They seem to be really quiet on development goings. I'm not really fond of the Behringer approach.

It's been on 3 consecutive sales by now.

One was on PB for like $95, and then on the Reveal Sound site for $99, and now again for $129???

Something is going on...

Is a paid add-on coming to Spire? MPE as paid DLC? Animations in modulation as paid DLC?

I contacted the support with the old projects issues and also asked about VST3. They answered me with a hint that they are doing the final edits, but they didn’t say exactly how long it would take...

When VST3 is added please ensure also that projects and presets migrate between the 2 versions and that params are aligned as well

Can you imagine the fallout if they actually gave a date and failed to meet because dates & programming just don't mix

Spire works just fine on Cubase 12! I know Steinberg will stop support in later versions of Cubase for VST2, but haven't specified when exactly, perhaps v13 or 14 of Cubase.

Cubase dropped support for VST2 plug-ins in native mode for Apple M1 chips and only VST3 plugins are currently supported

Ok, now I understand, but not everyone is running Cubase on Macs in native mode, I believe most of Steinberg customers are on PC, like me. I agree that VST3 should have been released by now. Hopefully it'll come soon enough along with native support for the M1/2 chips.
