Double Tap wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 9:27 pm Why do you think this deep discounting is happening?
My guess is their US distributor (who we buy from) suggested it. It's still a small discount compared to other companies so I don't think it means much.
I'm thinking about selling my Audio Modeling SWAM SOLO STRINGS BUNDLE V3 here on KVR for only €185, the black friday price is €252, so it's a great deal. :tu:

Just checking here first if someone might be interested, before I create the thread?
Let me know. (License transfer takes up to one week, according to Audio Modeling)

Not sure where else to ask. I'm chancing my arm a bit. But are there any good deals on the Arturia Prophet VS V (the latest version, separate from the Prophet 5 emulation)? I missed their summer sale. Woe is me

Is this product on a 90% sale any good ?

https://vstbuzz.com/deals/90-off-excali ... noise-art/

I searched for but couldn't find any discussion about Noise Art plugins products , and on their website I don't see videos, demos, audio samples for this product: https://noiseartplugins.com/product/excalibur-vsti-au/

Anyone bought anything from them and this Excalibur ever ?

Took them 5 years to create it and not a single demo/video… :hyper:

From their website regarding Excalibur:
”Limited amount of copies available to the public. We don't want everyone using the same sounds.” :hihi:

Yet by the looks of it this is your typical bread and butter rompler and not unique in any way, I'd love to hear some demos though.

Does Steinberg's Dorico Pro go on as much of a sale like Cubase Pro. Both have the same original price, but second hand, Cubase sells for around $250 and Dorico for around $350 (on other forums)??

Am I missing something here? Why is Dorico Pro so much more second hand than Cubase Pro?

I think everything depends on supply and demand, as in capitalism in general :)
I see here (and there) the Cubase goes relatively quickly for 160-200 € these days, but it is very rare that people would sell their Dorico.
It's a (relatively) new program and I think only those who take composing more seriously buy it (and although this is a personal opinion - it's better than its competitors, compared to cubase and their competitors).

well there's a refreshingly novel idea.

I'm hoping Liquidsonics/Reverb Foundry's HDcart goes on sale soon.
I’ve been kicking myself ever since I held off on buying hdcart when it was on sale for $50. 😟
I expect them to have a Black Friday sale.

Also, if you already own any Liquidsonics or Reverb Foundry plugins, don't forget to request your stackable discount codes (though they don't usually apply to bundles) to use them on Liquidsonics' webstore during the (possible) Black Friday sale: https://www.liquidsonics.com/upgrades/

It's over a year since Spectrasonics released Sonic Extensions. I wonder when the next bunch will be out. I thought at least with SEs they will have yearly releases.

It hijacks two (or three) Windows process so you think it's Windows and not them. But without any iLok software, they aren't consistently there (at least they're harder to catch). The problem being is they run during the DAW use and add CPU percentage use as well as "spikes" that can be annoying while recording. From what I can tell, it makes no difference if it's one product or twenty. So I guess if you have one, you might as well go for them all? IDK. I do know they are some of the worst people I've ever had to deal with.

But look at the products that had some kind of blow out sale flooding the market with $1-$9 products that were 10 or 20 times higher. Most of them required ilok. It would be hard to believe that no one else would see that correlation.
But again, if others WANT to use them, fine. All I hope for here is that those posting a "deal" that requires it, state that in the same post. If not, you can be sure someone will point it out and then we have to spend another three pages of this back and forth.
The iLok has a GPS chip that signals your location to Interpol. It's the same one they put into the vaccines.

thanks for reminding me. How do actually go about stacking your discounts, do you prove what you have via I-lok serials?

Stacking the discounts is as easy as adding the discount codes to your cart.

As for the codes themselves, if you follow the link in my post and go to the bottom of the page, you can submit your eMail address to get the code(s) emailed to you. This would be the email address from your Liquidsonics account or your iLok email address.

As per the FAQ section, if you recently purchased/registered any of their product via 3rd party vendor or second hand recently registered via iLok, you might want to reach out to Liquidsonics since it can take up to 30 days for it to synchronize and it could be past their Black Friday sale.

Following up on the https://audiomodeling.com/ sale.

After buying the bundle and going through the register/install routine I'm happy to say there's no bullshit web/login/key hoop jumping, no forced install locations, or all the other misc hair-pulling garbage so many music companies can't seem to get correct right off the bat. A solid positive experience all around.

And the instruments after I customized them with my sensel morphs... absolutely mind blowing.
Have you tried Vital?

I emailed Matt a while ago and he said Black Friday sale was in the plans.

And which instruments did you buy, if I may ask? I demoed the upright bass and it was very impressive with arc, not so much with pizzicato (which was my focus) so I ended up passing. but it stuck with me.
