not yet, but i did properly finish the lyre (ie redid the pegs so they're consistent in height) and a spring/rubber band 'noise box' so im getting a wee bit closer to it on that pile.

Got stuck into pi pico documentation, managed to make a farty aliasing saw wave with really wobbly voltage control and an SPI DAC. It's progress, I think :ud:

Preparing for a synth meetup tonight. I have my portable Serge/Euro and Elektron setup packed up and ready to go. Kind of a dry run for some gigs I have lined up early next year.

Moved the bigger, better computer monitor upstairs to use it with the craptop, since it's warmer up here. Even managed to get it plugged in and working without breaking anything. Result.

well the above was fun :D
looking forward to some proper pathing with them, was late tonight so just threw something quick together to test if id put them in right and had audio :hihi:

theres a bit where it started to sound like there were voices chattering in there :o

cheers, they're a lovely combination.

It went well! Here is a shot of the corner where I was set up:

My modular rig is on the far left, there were more tables off to the right.
I got to spend a few minutes with a Synthstrom Deluge which was a lot of fun.

After about an hour anxiety kinda kicked in but other than that I had a good time. It made me feel a lot better about upcoming gigs. Setup and break down was very easy since I can keep almost everything patched in these cases. I just need to put together a 15-30min set now.

shame about the anxiety, but i know what that can be like.

sounds like a great night though, hands on new toys, just being with other like-minded people doing stuff. looks like fun, and the place looks nice and clean too.
wish i was closer, all i have here is rock and metal folks

Did some sampling of piano parts, then turned them into reversed and processed instruments.
These were then used to create a new song which I just completed after working much of the night under a red, full moon.
