Any clue when Falcon will get an update to the browser, I’ve bought an extensive batch of libraries, but sorting through them can be a task. I currently use the search function, but it’s be great to see even some basic refinements to it.

Very generous.
I have it since it was released and I love it.

You need a magnifying glass to read the interface, but still.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

You can resize the instrument gui for a year now. But a useless rant makes more fun, I know.

Hopefully by version 3.0 we have a nice browser , I love Falcon, just wish UVI would concentrate on the workflow vs new synthesis for just one update.
There’s so much beautiful content UVI has to offer, just wanna get around faster.

I'm new to Falcon and also thought that the UI was tiny for Prime 8, and no matter how much I resized Falcon it made no difference. But I've just figured out, that if you click on the main Falcon spanner icon at the top of the header, and open Preferences, then you get a UI scaling and Script UI Scaling option for the Prime 8 interface itself which sorts this problem out.Boy Wonder wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 4:14 am You need a magnifying glass to read the interface, but still.

This! The browser and the workflow.trusampler wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 7:36 am Hopefully by version 3.0 we have a nice browser , I love Falcon, just wish UVI would concentrate on the workflow vs new synthesis for just one update.

Also better quality control when they release updates, instead of releasing 263 fixes all the time.
No more crashes on Apple M1 computers at all.
And the modulation/FM enhancements as discussed in the thread before, I'm all for it.
Will be dope for sure because soundwise UVI is stellar, it just needs that extra v3 kick next.

The fact that you have no problem when 98% of us have a problem with it speaks volume.c_voltage wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 10:48 am I have no probs with ui and browser here, voting for focus at FM synthesis lol (and cross/self-modulation ability).
Also these 2 things can work hand in hand in terms of development, they're not antagonistic.

Another vote for browser / UI updates in the next version.
It feels a bit Linux at the moment. People who love it LOVE IT, but it's too off-putting for the mainstream. A lot of poor presets too, they're getting better but with the bad navigation it's not very inviting. I do sorta regret buying it, though it was very cheap. Resale isn't a very attractive proposition, I'm just hoping a future version will improve these basics - I'll pay gladly if they're good enough improvements.

Heck, I didn’t remember that although I read it somewhere once. I only did some useless resizing before, where the instrument itself stays identical. Thanks for this reminder!wltchris101 wrote: Sat Nov 12, 2022 1:00 pmI'm new to Falcon and also thought that the UI was tiny for Prime 8, and no matter how much I resized Falcon it made no difference.
