Hi, do you like the Roland Fantom 06 workflow? I consider buying it, because I could arrange things in the Fantom without Cubase. Is that easier than using it with a PC?

I have the Fantom 06 and find it easier to use for solo live performances than a groovebox/synth combo. Mainly it is much easier to program and everything is in the same box, all integrated.

I do find it very slow to work with compared to a DAW though, when doing things like getting rough ideas down, doing basic arranging and so on. You don't get the overview you get in a DAW, so I tend to get lost if I don't have a sketch in the DAW as reference.
