Is there a plugin that points the time of track where the mix hits highest volume? Or a way in the daw to see this, without simply listening to the loud parts of the mix, eyeing the master volume to see when it hits the highest db. I'm using Ozone for "mastering" and when you do the custom master mode you are supposed to play the loudest part of the song. Trouble is I am never 100% sure it's actually the loudest part of the song

Don't take those instructions too literally. Usually for us, our choruses are louder than our verses, so I tend to let it use a chorus to set itself up. All they are trying to do is stop you from using the start of the song, which is likely to be much too quiet, so just pick a section where everything is playing and use that.

Agreed, the chorus is usually the loudest, or close enough, and close enough is good enough. For my stuff (instrumentals), it's often the section before the outro, I don't do choruses... (actually, solo's are usually louder but are typically not representative of the track as a whole).
If you really want to nail it down, try Youlean loudness meter (free), it generates a loudness graph for the whole song
Or, if you're a Reaper user, Render->Dry Run, will also generate loudness graphs

put a plugin like https://youlean.co/youlean-loudness-meter/, even the free version, last plug in position on the master channel and look at the loudness curve as the song progresses.
