Hi folks,
A brand-new (and very inspirational) Kontakt instrument for you!

Taking as its source inspiration the truly unusual Soma Labs Lyra 8, Shadow is a powerful, dangerous-sounding blend of erratic analogue oscillators and unpredictable, cyclic digital distortion. The combo of fluctuating waveforms and LFO-driven, randomised degradation yields results that can sound like digital rain falling onto burning seas, or haunted cries sounding from cavernous depths. Or so Mongo says, anyway. In any case, it's awesome for stacked atmospheric soundscapes and big, complex, evolving synth tones.

As well as six stackable randomised oscillators, there's atmospheric radio static as a noise source plus a hefty sub-oscillator to really beef things up. And of course our trademark Glitch control allows you to pop out brand new, never-before-heard patches with the click of a button.

As the evenings draw in and the spectre of winter looms over the horizon, Shadow might be exactly what you need to take your music into strange, deep, undiscovered territories. Use it wisely. (Oh, and it's on Special Offer right now, which is always good – grab a bargain!)

All the details, plus audio demos, are HERE!. It needs any full version of Kontakt from 4.2.3 or later to run.

Happy noodling!
The Professor (and Mongo)
