You may not want to. I went through a phase of only using ZHZ thinking the same, but have now found I prefer using Z2 specifically when layering it with certain other plugins (mainly Pianoteq for me), as it balances/blends better and not as heavy-handed as ZHZ can be. Nice way to keep them straight in my head for what I'm trying to achieve in each instance.
As always, YMMV.

What?
once you dont use the extra 'modules' in HZ, it is exactly Zebra2 dsp wise afaik... open a z2 presets in hz and it should null and use the same amount of cpu.

Caine123 wrote: Tue Nov 15, 2022 5:13 pm can you still copy/move presets without installing?
Of course you can still move and copy presets around inside the preset browser.
The soundset installer is just an added feature to make installation of soundsets easier for the user.
What you do with those presets afterwards is completely up to you.

You always need to unpack zip files before you can use them.
You first unpack the zip file, then drag the .uhe-soundset file onto the plugin and drop it to install.
As mentioned before, if it shows a symbol that it can't be dropped, then it's either because the plugin is not up to date, or there are permission issues.
The video I posted explains the most common pitfalls.

Now that I am back ITB, I will be picking up most of the U-he plugs again (not DIVA, never gelled with that snotty nosed bitch...oooh, that sounds a tad harsh)...pretty sharp marketing!!!

As I said I managed to solve it manually, the import by clicking on the U-He logo does also work though as I've tried that after the fact I did it the hard way although I'm kind of glad as I didn't really like the folder structure of the presets being in their own legacy folder

Very tempting! Although I've just spent NZ$2000 on my car 'complete' service and insurance, I might find $99 if I squeeze my pockets. Does that include taxes? Or I must add 15% (GST in NZ).

I do have much more than I need though. Actually I don't need it, not even the dark Zebra!

I don't know! I think I will pass 😞
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
