Be a great deal if I wasn't already swimming in plugs that do the same jobs, as it is Coldfire is really the only plug I really want and will use the most

Got an $99 upgrade offer from 8 to 9. I didn't expect this. I'll probably succumb to the temptation...

I have the free FX (4 of them), and my offer is $99. :(

Maybe eurozone users get a lower price due to VAT?

Maybe Arturia is just not that into me?

Hmm maybe it's because I got V collection 8 or Pigments then

Yeah, same position. I just don't need any more bread and butter, regardless of how good they are. I have an excellent quality bread and butter mountain.

I'm wavering on V Collection. I have V8, SQ80 and CS80 V4. I would like the MS20 and I guess the soundsets. I can't grumble at €99, but it's not super-essential. I have the new shiny Zebra toy in the meantime...

It is indeed. Arturia will give an additional discount if you own V Collection. Speaking of which..

The $99 update (for VC9) is about the best deal anyone, on a previous VC, will likely get this side of waiting it out another year (or more) for VC 10 offers..

Does anyone know if I were to purchase Pigments today at the black friday 2022 sale price of $99, would Arturia then offer the V collection 9 to me at a price lower than current sale price of $299? Maybe at $199? (Note, I don't currently own any Arturia products)

Thanks very much!

Pigments doesn’t get you a V Collection discount. Only owning V Collection instruments does.

Woohoo 'crossgraded' to the FX Collection earlier for $49!!!!
Last time I got an offer for it was $149 a few weeks back. It was gone though when I finally decided to buy it last week.
Guess it was a sign I should wait haha.

Okay thanks for that info. So, if I'm looking to acquire the V Collection 9, there is no strategy for me that will make the price even less than the current black friday $299?

Also, is there any benefit of buying either direct from Arturia.com vs from a dealer (like sweetwater)?

Thanks!

Post

Arturia lets you split your payments into 4 installments. It costs $5 extra to do that. While Sweetwater has up to 24 month financing at $13 a month for V Collection, which comes to $312 total. If either of those options appeal to you.

Other than that there’s no difference. If you were buying a physical copy from Sweetwater they might include a Sweetwater sticker in the package.

Really! Wow. Makes my €99 upgrade from V8 and full FX3 look expensive.

Okay thanks for that info. (snip)
This is incorrect. I only own Pigments and they've offered me a V Collection crossgrade discount (I can get it for $150).

Do you think there is a condition that you must have owned pigments for more than a few seconds? If I got the offer you have, I could theoretically get pigments and V Collection for $250 if I first buy pigments, no? It's nuts that Aturia would let people game the system like that, but maybe it really is possible?

Great! :tu:

I own V Collection 9 and Pigments and FX Collection 2, and I would still have to pay $299 for another V Collection license.
