Big fan of graphic EQs. Just like the workflow - just pull some faders up or down!

I find them useful for "creative" EQing, for example I have one in a delay feedback path so I can quickly sculpt the way the repeats sound, sometimes even use it as a performance tool.

Other than the more traditional use in live sound - as mentioned by Tj Shredder - graphic EQs can also be used to imbalance the stereo image, thus creating perceived width.

API 560 is one of the most perfectly designed signal processors in existence, in my opinion. The Waves emulation is "good" but no plugin has truly captured it.
