i see, thank you !

its a great piece of software. VERY capable.
feels a bit, like they´d understimate on their own the whole potential thats in there.
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

So this doesn't save the buffer?

i would like to map:
Harvester mode / auto pilot off
thanks for the suggestions, I will look into this shortly!

regarding buffer save, we had a long talk about this and found the side effects a bit over complicating the user experience. but we will keep the idea alive.

best

Hi is it possible to do an Akai style timestretch with this plugin? I just got it and am figuring it out, and am messing with the 2 timestretch presets I see, but not fully grasping it all just yet. I'd like to somehow set it up to get that akai sound and then from there try tweaking it into a variation of that - if that makes sense.

how is this compared to Fragments & Love? it features the crazy radomizations options it seems.

This might help - https://www.databroth.com/blog/portal-v ... s-graindad

Graindad is the only one I don't own. I'd like to try it but haven't seen a tempting enough sale yet.

You made a great choice. It may not be quite as deep or over the top as something like accSone's crusher-X 10, which is like a granular laboratory, but it's very capable in a musical context. It does great at reorganizing audio loops, glitches and gorgeous delays. It's a proper multi-effect with a powerful modulation system.

And if you like to experiment with happy accidents, Graindad features plenty of randomization possibilities all throughout the plug-in. It's a very potent, real-time granular effect and you should have a lot of fun with it. Cheers! :tu:

It's been a long time since I've had any Akai gear but if I'm remembering correctly, fixed size and density with minimal overlap between grains (each grain should be silent 1/2 way through the next) should get you in the neighborhood.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

I bought it as well and I kind of regret waiting so long because I really like it a lot.

Sugar Bytes have a great tutorial video on YouTube that is around 1.5 hours long.
