All other deals are not unheard of, but FX Collection 3 crossgrade for $49? Seriously?

149 euro crossgrade seems a fabulous deal
just been demoing - what's with the MS-20 V Super Series preset ??! thankfully had my speakers lower than normal and didn't have my headphones on but went from the other patches peaking at -12dB to +35-40dB (!) for this patch - didn't help I had a reverb in the chain

I did the upgrade from FX Collection 2 to Collection 3 for $49. Value wise it's pretty nice but also not a screaming deal on paper. I got 3 new plugins (as most people and I got the Tape MELLO-Fi for free already).LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:06 am All other deals are not unheard of, but FX Collection 3 crossgrade for $49? However the EFX Fragment surprised me, it's a really lovely effect plugin. To me, this plugin alone is worth the $49 price tag.

Well, it is a good deal, but as I originally had no plan to buy the fx bundle, arturia’s strategy of aggressively reducing prices for existing customers seems to have worked pretty well. Without that deal, I never would have bought it! I agree with the other poster, though, that efx fragments is a very interesting plugin.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:06 am All other deals are not unheard of, but FX Collection 3 crossgrade for $49? hahaha yeah! I wanted V-Collection 9 and ended up getting that plus the fx bundle and pigments. Great deal imo!

Yeah, the $49 upgrade from FX Collection 2 to 3 was tough to resist. I know I'll get use out of Bus Force, Diode 609 and Sitral 295. Hopefully I can put the other additions to use.
With only one new synth for me in V Collection 9, I may be waiting for 10. That Korg MS-20 sounds sweet though.

The groove baby, the groove...

I have the V7 (only for Jup-8 V3) & the V8 and will soon upgrade to the V9 (can't resist a $99 offer). Do I need to uninstall and deactivate the V8 before installing the V9? Cheers.

Not needed. Just update any existing plugins and install the new plugins.Chrisk-K wrote: Wed Nov 16, 2022 4:27 pm I have the V7 (only for Jup-8 V3) & the V8 and will soon upgrade to the V9 (can't resist a $99 offer). Do I need to uninstall and deactivate the V8 before installing the V9? Cheers.

It would be cool if Arturia would make reproductions of some synths that didn't have great interfaces like my Korg DW8000, which only has one parameter slider. They could make a version where all the parameters are available on their own sliders/knobs/buttons and make these synths far easier to program.

V Collection upgrades have never been 49 as far as I remember. Perhaps you dreamt it.

Maybe upgrade price of FX Collection or Pigments?

Yes, fx collection was $49 for me last time I upgraded from v2 to v3. I have all their software except the piano latest one. But I don't remember that was the price for upgrading to VC.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

The minimum for V Collection has always been $99 AFAIR. It is called "Crossgrade" by the way from FX Collection or Pigments. "Upgrade" is from previous V Collection.
For context - we are talking about V Collection upgrade/crossgrade.
