Hello, KVR!

I am aware of Techivation, but wasn't overly impressed by it. Is there anything non-marginally better?

I'm happy with the Accusonus ERA 6.2 bundle for all my vocal needs. Hard to beat for free.

From their website: "Thanks for your support! Accusonus is embarking on a new adventure!"

Seems like the company has restructured and downloads are available only to existing customers.

I do my de-essing with a dynamic EQ:
BitwigPluginHost-X64-SSE41_ncbaWTxrgT.png
This band is a 3db boost for more "air" but a dynamic threshold that cuts to about -8db when "s" and "t" occur.

You get a great EQ and dynamics processor for a very low price

My not be a perfect de-esser, but it works great for me on my vocals.

Well, I was hoping for something more advanced than that :) Otherwise, finding a right frequency and toning it down can be performed using... Any EQ out there?

Waves Sibilance is probably worth a look. :)
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here. ;)

Talking of Toneboosters, Sibilance V3 is now of course free. Very comprehensive with a number of different methods.

No,

And yes I get the best results as well with a dynamic eq. Steinberg frequency 2 in case you use cubase

Is Spitfish still around? I remember using it years ago and thinking it was pretty good, especially for a freebie.

My favorite de-esser is Elosis e2desser. However I just went to their site and their site SSL certificate is out of date making their site insecure so I wouldnt recommend ordering from it. Shame because its a really nice de-esser...

I submitted a support ticket on their site to let them know of this. I will let you know if they update it.

Great de-esser and one of my long-time favs, but it’s now distributed by Slate and I believe it’s subscription only now.
