you have to take down the walls to avoid reverberation.

Not sure how to help you other than to recommend Acon's deverberate plugin AND that you ought to check your synth's settings as there might be reverb being generated from there and not in your DAW's fx chains, like someone mentioned in this thread before.

Acon Digital DeVerberate (recently updated), Accentize DeRoom Pro and Sonible Proximity are in my opinion probably the best tools to remove reverbs nowadays (I have DeVerberate and Proximity).

I just purchased acon digital deverberate and I get an error message saying I "can't install on this computer" I'm running an imac 10.7.5 I tried version 3, couldn't install, then tried version 2 with the same error message. I found the system requirements for version 3, but couldn't find for version 2. Thoughts?

DeVerberate 2.x requires 10.8 as a minimum. DeVerberate 1.x requires 10.6. If you can get that you should be ok.

Thank you. I didn't see 1x on their list of old versions

Sorry to resurrect this topic. I need an advice. There are in these days heavy discounts both on Accentize De Room Pro and on Zynaptiq Unveil and I'm thinking of buying one of them. Have you ever compared those two to remove room tone and reverb? How would you compare directly the results you get from them?
Yes, I'm trying the demos, but would also like to hear what you think.

I would go with Accentize DeRoom Pro if I were you. I read it is probably the best tool to remove reverbs nowadays.

It is... It's the most natural sounding. Then RX 10 after that.
