I'm getting bombarded with emails from Relab, like everyday.
I still don't quite understand how the new "LX480 Dual Engine" plugin differs from the "LX480 Complete" plugin.
Is it just a new version – if so how does it differ from the previous one? Was the first single engine and the new one dual engine?
Also, if you had “Complete” did you get a free update/ upgrade?
Finally, it looks as if the “Essentials” got an update so that it continues to be a cut down version of the latest LX480 plugin?

they renamed Complete to Dual Engine and called it v4.
It does not differ much besides a few more settings on the DSP side and a new GUI (which is worse readable on FULL HD resolution than v3 unfortunately)
Also unfortunately it is not backwards compatible in projects (only presets can still be loaded from v3, but the v3 is not further developed now).
Yes previous Complete v1-v3 owners get the v4 update for free.
Essentials is a version of it with fewer controls/possibilities. But has almost all algorithms baked in presets to chose from.
It's the quick goto version of the big one.
If you need more tweak possibilities (as I do) you need to upgrade to the big version.
