Well, finally we can move further with it. Not a big VST user here, as I mostly us Rack Extensions, but I can understand that this needed to be done.

By the way, here's a link to the beta sign up: https://www.reasonstudios.com/beta-test/signup
The more people testing, the better chances to make it work like intended.

What about native M1 support for Mac? Is that still planned for this year?

Beta seems to work OK, just tried a few random VST3's and they all worked as expected.
Progress is indeed slow, but at least in the right direction.

I was really hoping for M1 support - don’t use plugins in Reason anyway

I use Reason 11 Intro, the rack for the most part, but it's tiny, I could use a HD version, would be nice to see Reason 12 Intro in that case. I would definitely upgrade.

MIDI loop-/take-recording in which decade? Slip-editing in which decade? Project-file versions (i.e. without duplicating all the embedded audio-files) in which decade?

VST3 support is nice but they are late with what has become a bog standard and pretty unexciting feature in the industry. I don't see why Reason users are so giddy.
