I'm nothing to say about early reflection area though, it seems here this is quite good - and exactly this part could call as "good variability".
(Though i guess for ER's fans, there is bounty in form of VSS3, that even cheaper.)

The Seventh Heaven Professional sounds so great. I had to try Cinematic Rooms. And it is an excellent reverb (nice parameters like proximity) that can produce a lot of different reverb sounds. Good work!

Hi,
Is there a big sacrifice in reverb quality if I get the Standard instead of the Pro version, I work mostly in Stereo, no surround needed.
Thanks.

Reverb quality no, adjustability of all parameters yes. The Standard version of Cinematic Rooms & Seventh Heaven have quite limited EQ, which is significant because they have quite a bit going on, especially down low. Liquidsonics really knows how to inspire you to buy the Pro version.Muziksculp wrote: Mon Aug 24, 2020 7:01 pm Hi,

Thanks for the helpful feedback.
I got the Standard version, and I'm very happy with it, it put a big smile on my face playing with it for two minutes.
I think it is good enough for my current needs, I might upgrade to the Pro version in the future to have more control, and customization of the Reverb characteristics, which is always nice to be able to do.
Cheers,

My vision is that the meaning is only in the pro version.
Although, of course, the main thing is that the user likes it. (And different needs ofcourse)

it seems i activated a demo some time in the past
! well i cannot demo it atm...
so i wanna ask i wanna replace Tracks5 Hall, i got already Valhalla Hall etc. which i love! i also wanna get rid of R2 and R4, not stable in FL Studio and dont wanna have izotope plugins a lot anymore....
is Cinematic Rooms maybe a good replacement?
what more brings it to Valhalla Hall?
thx

Valhalla is different, it's a very characterful reverb...in a good way, like reverb guitar pedals. Cinematic Rooms sound a lot more controllable and clean, but still gorgeous. As the advertisement said, room simulations (aka early reflections) its main strength. They are tight and pronounced, but CR can do everything from short decay bass enhancing (it really works to put it on synth basses) up to infinite decay ambient smears using infinite decay (not so ambient-ish like Blackhole can though).
I sold mine CR last year and almost immediately missed it so I hope Liquidsonics will run BF sale where I can buy it again

In the same time, Blackhole does not have abilty to infinite decay in latest versions, just static freeze (that not so cool unfortunately, incl. for ambient needs).Dombaeb wrote: Tue Nov 22, 2022 3:53 pm Valhalla is different, it's a very characterful reverb...in a good way, like reverb guitar pedals. Cinematic Rooms is the best reverb available on the market. Period. And they only run one sale a year, on Black Friday. So get it. Also, remember that their plugins have stacking discounts, which apply on top of the sale if you've got them.

It’s pricey, but Pro is - to my ears - much better than Standard due to both the additional controls (incl ducking) and the even-better handling of ERs - plus a lot more presets.Muziksculp wrote: Mon Aug 24, 2020 7:49 pmHi Winstontaneous,Winstontaneous wrote: Mon Aug 24, 2020 7:33 pmReverb quality no, adjustability of all parameters yes. With loyalty plus BF I paid $140 for CRP last year and it’s one of the best musical purchases I’ve made (up there with ProQ3 and Valhalla Delay and a few others).
I only work in stereo.
