Just received an email from PA.
All Plugins (150+ plugins) for $799 as a perpetual license.
https://www.pa-megastore.com/all-bundle-2022/
Rent-to-own option for 10 months ($79 per month) makes it look like a good deal but I wonder what do you think about this?

The price is pro rated depending on what you have already purchased. My offer is $399. The answer the the question is going to depend on what you already own and if the inevitable overlap you’ll have in your plugin folder makes this a “must have rarely use proposition” or a real value proposition. For me the math doesn’t work but I can see people going for it. Especially people subscribing and wanting to get into the permanent license scheme instead.

I have all I need from PA. The rest would be unused bloatware… Who needs 20 different channel strips 50 compressors, eq and all that stuff? In the glory days of great hit productions, there was one desk and one mastering chain. Why should I need more today? Same for all those amp sims…
Its different with synthesizers. I think I got all instruments of PA already…

I got the $299 offer but I am not going to take it, I have an active subscription, and all the plugins that I actually use I already have a full license, I think I will stop the subscription next year.
Anyhow, It's not a bad offer

I’m a early bird mega subscriber with a decent deal and had a 399€ offer for the whole(for now) bundle; I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I rather stay on sub and grab new plugins and those few perpetual licenses from plugins I actually use, instead of paying for a whole lot of stuff I wouldn’t likely use, like ever

You have to keep in mind that this is not a very complete collection at all - e.g. when it comes to reverb, delay, and modulation FX the options are rather limited...

I have everything I need from them after I get Kirchoff and sa2rate on forever 29, (and silver bullet whenever that comes out). It's a good deal if you don't own any of their stuff but you want a bunch of it.
Not that much different.

They have some in the catalog but that is a hole that needs to be plugged. Mostly it is Unfiltered Audio that is bringing in the creative modulation and delay effects. A few from ADA and Tantra 2 Multieffect from DS Audio. Bx_rooms and Bx_Delay are solid but not outstanding.jens wrote: Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:30 pm You have to keep in mind that this is not a very complete collection at all - e.g. when it comes to reverb, delay, and modulation FX the options are rather limited...

I got the mega bundle subscription because I can have full use of all the plugins for a year and then get any 10 of my choice forever after that. I wanted the Knifonium synth and that alone would have been almost what the whole bundle would have been so it made sense for me to get it. So far, it has been a good deal because of the Unfiltered Audio stuff in there.

My offer is $499. But I already bought all the PA plugins I want. So I can give them $500 for all the plugins I don't want, which isn't a super great deal IMO.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Is PA coming out with a Silver Bullet plug or did I read that wrong?briefcasemanx wrote: Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:49 pm I have everything I need from them after I get Kirchoff and sa2rate on forever 29, (and silver bullet whenever that comes out). The ADA is great, but that's the only flanger and there's no phaser at all, no rotary yadda yadda -Scotty wrote: Tue Nov 22, 2022 10:34 pmThey have some in the catalog but that is a hole that needs to be plugged. as for the rest you mentioned: it's all more on the cold side of things.
And about UA: I want to love them; I have most of their stuff - but never use it because the algos themselves just do not sound very good at all to me. And whenever I listen to sound-examples from them I think I know whay that is. How would a blind man describe a beautyful sunrise? (edit: This is maybe not the best metaphor as I always try my best to be as non-judgemental as possible but they really seem to live on a another planet than me music-wise)

Their marketing department seems to act more and more erratic… promote subscription everywhere, introduce “forever 29”, stop “forever 29”, start it again for a few days, now sell an “all bundle”. Is there any strategy behind it?

Noticed that Gig performer unlocked is not in the bundle, that thing is always excluded from their sales and all..
Wondering about creating a new account just for this, then resell all I already own at cheap price (got like 100 plugins, $5-$15 depending on rarity and value), but I know some less sought plugins wont sell at all.
What you think ?
