Looking for a synth where you can set the note's release louder than its sustain

How to make that sound...

I don't think I've ever come across a synth with such ADSR (attack decay sustain release) shaping possibilities but it's the sound I'm looking for, specifically a "bump" at the release of a note.

In the middle of this page (scroll down) are ADSR examples which includes the "pluck" ADSR but of course nothing about how to achieve it:

Something like this can be achieved if there is a sustain looping option in the synth (e.g Massive) but the note will be fixed length...

Any ideas?

You can do that in Dune 3 (Audio Synapse) and I am also pretty sure in Pigments (Arturia).

All you need to do is to set up a custom envelope ("MSEG" in Dune, "Function" in Pigments) and set its trigger to "on note release".

Then you can draw any envelope you want, link it to the parameter you want to be affected and it will do that each time when you release a note.

There are multiple possibilities on any synth if you let go of "it has to happen automatically". Manual twist the pot, aftertouch modulation ...

Here a patch for Vital which is using a LFO in Envelope Sustain mode.

Problem: Some notes are sounding distorted, I think this is a BUG:
(rising the smooth knob does help a bit).

Fixed the issue by introducing a short zero-zone at the start of the LFO shape.
Test Preset 2.zip
So, in envelope-sustain mode the LFO stops at the positon of the phase-slider and continues when the key is released.

MSEGs in Zebra can do that

A Yamaha DX7-style envelope can have any stage at any level. It's not a traditional ADSR.
