Reverb That Affects Only Mid to High Frequencies?

Hi all. In my productions, I like to use drum loops to add flavor to my songs. Many times, though, those loops are dry, and I'd like to add some reverb - but only to the snare and high hats, not the kick. Is there a reverb plugin that can achieve this?
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

You could put an eq on the reverb send and filter out the lows before and after the actual reverb.
Or you could e.g. duplicate the loops and cut out all but the snares and use that to send to the reverb. this way you could maybe also do the same for the hhs.
Or some programs allow you to chop a loop to individual samples and generate midi.
but, you'll always have some things that clash - so might want to use a mix of all of the above.

Relab LX480 has a low cut. The low band bottoms out at 120 hz. I often cut out the lows also because verbs suck on kicks

Also, most of the valhallaDSP reverbs have a dedicated HI/LO filter

379 posts and you’re asking about eq on a reverb?
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

You can still remove that attack of the kick with some manual editing, or with a plugin like VolumeShaper.Ploki wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 1:24 pm if you're using a stereo loop of a drum you won't be able to completely remove the kick even if you hipass it - attack of the kick (and the thing most likely triggering reverb) will remain

If you don´t want to buy a new plugin, this is the best solution.Vortifex wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 11:50 am Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but couldn't you achieve that just by putting the reverb on a send and highpassing it?

This is the kind of thing the OP is likely looking for. The task requires a combination of tools. Spectral editing would be the obvious choice - especially if there is a solo kick that can be sampled for noise removal.Aloysius wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 2:14 pm zplane Peel is good for isolating. Put that before a reverb.

Another option might be DRUMSSSX by Fuse Audio Labs. Timing could have been better as it was just on offer - but the demo will work for long enough to decide whether it can help.

No. Seriously. If you need advice on eqing a reverb, maybe music isn’t for you. My question was not sarcastic; it was
