Slowly updating various bits of studio gear, I've now got good reason to get a new audio card...
The main requirements are:
- Mains power
- MIDI I/O
- Dual, independent headphone outs
- At least one mic input
- Reliable, low latency connection to Windows (only needs to be 48KHz but 64 sample buffer size is required)
The "MIDI I/O" and "dual headphone" requirements appear to be the severely limiting factors. I'd settled on a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 3rd Gen (despite misgivings) until I read this thread: viewtopic.php?t=478292&start=45 (which basically confirmed my general misgivings and highlighted specific areas of concern).
The main upgrade I'm looking for is actually from one to two headphone outs - otherwise I'll stick with what I've got and just use a splitter...
Looking for another new audio card - any recommendations?

Locking - I'll stick with my Zoom UAC-2 and splitter for now.
