at 1:17 you can hear some sort of "woosh". for my ears it belongs to the piano-reverb-sound (?), but i don't know how to do it. is it some sort of pitchshifter? or maybe just a synth sound as an added layer?
does anyone have an idea?

That's modulation of the delay time 
He was tweaking the delay time knob while it's been active which changed the pitch and created that bounce effect, you can even hear one bounce of the delay coming out of it right after that.
