Here it is. Cosmo D's Cello Soundbank. Over 500 MB of nuthin but cello. Right on your hard drive! Add a the ethereal, strange and old-world vibe of a 1856 German cello to your tracks with this unique package.
I've prepared 4 samples that were made using only the sounds of the cello comp, the NI Kontakt sampler and a midi-sequencer.

This sampler isn't meant to be a replacement to the Vienna String Library. IN fact, this Sample Library does what other string libraries do not: explore and give to you the detail, nuance and personality of one instrument and its performer. In this case it's me, Cosmo D. I used the creation of this sound library to really explore the nuances of the cello and its hidden secrets
Let me break down the specifics of the package:

I've also included over 750 Cello licks and loops. I separated them into 80 bpm, 90 bpm, 100 bpm, 110 bpm, 120 bpm and 130 bpm. Some loops are played in a 4/4 meter and some (like in example 3) are played in a 3/4 meter. I trust you're all savvy enough to mix up the meters on your own, though. These loops are meant to be chopped up, mangled and sent through your own personal creative blender.
How to acquire the soundbank

Fill it out with your address and I'll ship the Soundbank Via Media Mail.
At this point the Bank has been mapped to the NI Kontakt sampler. If you own samplers like Giga, Halion or Reason, fear not! All the raw files will be included in the CD, and are laid out in an organized way, so you can map them to your liking and post the formats on this website.
