Okay, we're 36 pages into this thread. Where's our video forum already?

wonder if you could get animal safe dyes?
might look awesome with an army of some sort of arthropod?!
mantis shrimp are pretty psychedelic looking, but they can punch out of most tanks.
vampire crabs i can get two!

So I did get the VS perplexon addon for I dunno $3 during the BF sale, I think it's pretty cool and worth it. Another thing I got for BF that I thought was pretty cool was Cartoon Animator 5 from Reallusion. If anyone's interested in 2D animation anyway.

Though I probably didn't really need both of them, I also got Moho Pro (2D Animation) a great program that I used to own like 30 yrs ago or something, until they got bought by SmithMicro. Moho is now back in the hands of the original developer thanks to SmithMicro bailing out on content creation stuff. The full version is not really cheap, even at -40% off. It's the real deal though, you can make feature film quality animation with it, full IK bone animation, automatic mesh creation, particles, full PSD support etc...

These are not really up to the level of Toonboom Harmony, which I used to use before they went subscription, but likely you won't find better for their onetime costs. Much easier to swallow than the $123.50 mo, Harmony sub.

Did we miss any Black Friday deals because there's no video forum by the way?

$50, that's not bad. Spout in and out as well, it seems.

that looks pretty cool, if a little more involved to set up and use than vs. the payoff for the effort looks well worth it!

Yeah, I find it really appealing. Having the jpeg/png import and using 'Milkdrop presets' function is something I want to have, for doing various effects. And bringing in your own clips, looks really easy. AND mapping clips/images (etc) to a 'hot-key', as well. Cool stuff!vurt wrote: Thu Jan 26, 2023 3:07 pmthat looks pretty cool, if a little more involved to set up and use than vs. the payoff for the effort looks well worth it!

Yes. They appear to make their $'s from 'Dome' styled events/installations and Dome specific hardware sales. Really glad the basic program is so reasonable. May well be my go-to for this kind of thing.whyterabbyt wrote: Thu Jan 26, 2023 12:56 pm $50, that's not bad. Spout in and out as well, it seems.
