Hey all. I'm new to this forum.
I managed to get 5 or 6 banks of DX7/TX patches off my old micro-floppies recently and I want to use them in the Dexxed VST.
The issue is that they are saved in a proprietary format as DX Editor patches, not Sys-Ex. Does anyone know of a way to translate them to sys-ex within MacOS without having to connect an old midi interface, dump them to an actual DX7 and output sys-ex from there?
Thanks!
/Chris

Basilisk II has midi port emulation I think, you could run it on an emulated system 7 and redirect the midi to dexed in some host, and save direct from there. I'm surprised DX editor can't export as sysex files though.

edit: Apparently this software:

Can handle Opcode DX/TX Editor/Librarian format and convert them directly.
