Hi guys do you know if Klimper works in cubasis? Is it supported? . Or can you at least export and drag and drop midi files from Klimper into cubasis?

A good app for playing chords on an iPhone or on iPad is MsyChords ( https://msye.com/msychords (https://msye.com/msychords) ).

It's not iOS, but Hookpad is great* for doing uber-minimal-to-simple things in a browser (no installation!) and it writes out flawless MIDI files. It's one of the few subscriptions I have that feels like it's already paid for itself in terms of usefulness. Chordbot is great, too, and it's iOS native, but far less powerful and friendly to use, imo.

Like many people in the past have noted, if you can feel confident about a "song" and arrangement on just an acoustic guitar, you've probably got something worth expanding. And vice-versa: Having an idea strong enough that it survives being simplified down to a piano or acoustic guitar. Hookpad feels like that in some ways. If you get something in there that you're excited about, once you get it into a DAW, the work begins.

*Hookpad can feel clunky at first, but once you learn where to put your mouse to do things and how to select things for manipulation and how to split chords for voice leading, it's worth the time.
