Not that there's anything to do about it, but i was thinking of getting logic pro 7; i'm a student audiotech, so i figured i could buy it at education price.
Know what turns out? I'm in Belgium, and you have to be inscribed in a school in the Netherlands to be able to use the education thing- and so obviuosly i'm not!
So that kinda means i can't buy the damn thing even if i wanted and even though i *study* this stuff, while people in medicine and i don't know what in Holland can! Not that i think that doctors can't buy logic at education, but i guess you see what my problem is...

That's soooooooo frustrating, appleguys! I suggest you do something about it...

Have you tried to contact The Sound Factory in Ghent ? If there is any possibility to buy at the educational price in Belgium, they should know.

hey panda...
i know tha apple offers astudent version here in germany.. cost 500 Euro.. I know that the school from ATB and Woody van Eyden have the possibilty to sell studentversions...they are in Bochum, Germany. The schools name is SEAP.. they have a webpage for further infos..

Haven't tried the sound factory yet, just went to ask in IT pro (apple center) and looked on the internet. I thought music stores only sold full paid versions (and i don't really like the guy in the music factory, always in a bad mood). But i'll give them a call...

If it doesn't work here in ghent, i'm afraid bochum is too far away for me to pick up some software... Think they could send it over?
