Favorite rhythmic effects tool?

I agree with all of the great selections that have already been posted. I was also pleasantly surprised at how much fun Korg's KAOSS Pad is in plug-in form! It brings back memories of using the hardware units in my DJ sets. The default GUI is really basic and frankly boring. But the Edit page is where it's at.
Setting parameters to taste and then tweaking it with the X/Y pad is very addictive and it can offer some incredibly sophisticated sounding effects with 25 onboard algorithms to choose from. It's an excellent creative tool that will probably get quite a bit of use over the coming months. Mxxx (usually with rhythmizer in it) or stutter edit 2. I like to trigger this kind of junk via midi notes and both of those are easily controlled this way.
There are tons more fun rhythmic FX out there. Taste is a major factor.
