Why not make it part of the assignment? Either the students/kiddies have to create a metronome track, or play along with a pre-fabricated click track...Generating metronome track

This could indeed be fun but there is no time for it as we are constantly running against the clock.
It is in an instrument class where you have to teach four kids in an hour.

We are talking about classical music in which are alway different meters and tempo changes and rubato's etc.
There is no default song in classical music.
