Looking for a good free Oscilloscope...

I'm intrigued now... is your interest in a sample accurate oscilloscope for wave output debugging?

Yep, pretty much. Flipping between the debugger and the scope, trying to grok what's causing some occasional weird output. But also just for testing my CENSORED algorithm. A real-time scope is much better than rendering the output to file then viewing it in a wave editor. And it's interactive too.

Something else for the major experimenter... did you know that Poly-Ana's .pap (Poly-Ana Program) and .pab (Poly-Ana Bank) files are plain text? You can edit them by hand with notepad.exe or any other .txt editor. (Be careful though, the parser isn't very robust. Stick to the existing format EXACTLY.)

If you're looking for another suggestion, check out Oscilloscope. It's free at the moment and offers Stand-alone + AU/VST3 compatibility.

Any suggestions to functionality, we're all ears! Reading the original posts, we're already making some changes that might fit here.

Don't know about the 1:1 or rising/falling requirements, but I'm surprised nobody mentioned Melda MOscilloscope already (or I simply missed it). Free, Mac/PC, VST3, many settings to tweak...
