Looking for very fast Delay VST

hi,
does anybody know of a VST that has extremely fast delay times (I'm talking 1/128th)? I do have one very old but very good x32 - CatDelay - that goes up to 1/64th and never saw a faster one.

1/128th is ultra-fast. Must be approaching granular territory. That kind of extreme reminds me of Infiltrator who's LFO goes to 128 bars. Can you imagine? Some of my downtempo songs go to around 96 bars or so. The LFO would still be opening by the time the song ended.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

why synced when you're going that fast?
not sure if i know anything faster than 1/128th, but when i'm looking for very fast, Fabfilter, or Melda for instance should probably do the trick. they go there unsynced in ms though.

Double the tempo of your project, then play everything half as fast XD That way a 1/64th becomes a 1/128th.
It runs on my machine! Everything else is undefined behavior.

Aye, give my free delay plugin a try. I'd have to check my code, but I believe the minimum buffer sizes is either 64 or 128 samples, which equates to 1-3 milliseconds. At the lowest settings you likely won't even be able to distinguish a delay, you will just get a "thickening" of the signal (checkout the "doubler" and "thick" presets).

Do the math. At a BPM of 120, 1/128th will produce a sound with the fundamental of 256 Hz. Its 3.9 ms delay time…
Better look for a synthesizer or sampler to create those sounds. Its easier to tune them to the rest of the track… Though tuning the tempo to the key has also its merrits…

u-he colourcopy seems (according to the manual) to go as fast as 0.001s and addiotinal x4

At 120 BPM each 1/4 note = half a second = 500 ms.
1/8 = 250 ms
1/16 = 125 ms
1/32 = 62.5 ms
1/64 = 31.25 ms
1/128 = 16.125 ms
Which is 64 Hz.

...which imho, i consider not that "fast"...
most delays offer at least 10ms, a lot around 1-5ms (unfiltered audio for example)
which most likely brings you in chorus, flanger or phaser territory...

Had a quick look through my plugin folder:
ValhallaDelay can get extremely short tempo-related delays by using the "Quad" (i.e. multitap) mode with the shortest (1/32, 1/64) settings. I think with even spacing and 1/32 timing TapA is 1/128 - and you can turn off the other taps. At 1/64 it might even go to 1/256 - and this is before playing with the delay spacing.
ReplikaXT goes up to 1/64 and if you disable Sync you can set the "BPM" to double your session to get to 1/128.
Timeless 3 and Sandman Pro will go down to a few ms but you have to do the maths because the sync delays don't go that low. (Sandman Pro makes the maths very easy because you can go down to 1/64, disable sync to see the ms value, and then just go to half of that. Hold down ctl for fine tuning!)
A suprisingly simple option is the Quadrant multiFX by Glitchmachines. From an empty patch, the inbuilt delay module goes to 1/128 so it's quick to set this up. It makes sense that Glitchmachines would support this kind of thing, they love buffer effects. FractureXT also has a delay module that can do this, but it's a bit more fiddly to bypass the other stuff than on Quadrant.
