indeed.
and not understanding that while doing r and d for this, have probably perfected some code/elements that will help improve future products.
or that they are not the only customer on the planet "it's no use for me, so no one else must need such a thing!" :nutter:

Exactly!

Quick question: As someone who makes dance music and has vinyl as an option for DJs and for things like Bandcamp, is this a good way to test in our mix downs if the bass frequencies etc play well with that medium? I have to pay extra for mastering for vinyl, would this negate the need for that extra process if I can ensure it's vinyl capable in the normal mix?

What an amazing product. Must have been a huge amount reseach and testing to make this. Kudos to Fabien & team for doing this groundbreaking work. Price? Yea, it's ridiculous. Something in the same ballpark yet nothing like this and not supported anymore afaik, rent of 5 days €199.

One good thing about this product is it's revealed a number of the Fanboi types and ignoramous posters. Facinating!

Too late, the damage is done...

Tried the demo and I can see this being very useful for a lot of people. Not just for pressing, but for people wanting to get their tracks on vinyl. You can see some useful info about how your mix is for vinyl. Really great stuff, congrats!!

That's my understanding - and it really should help to improve mixing techniques in general through immediate understanding of how a plate might be cut: Making sure the bass and transients are correct.

Yet to demo but it also seems capable of doing everything I wanted from Unfiltered Audio's Needlepoint. And it hints at potential for a very nice pitchshifting method, not yet included.

I'm quite surprised by the negativity - Maybe not coming from engineers but composers and musicians.

I know. They released it.

In the last while plugin companies seem to be trying very hard to move away from the status quo - the ongoing releases of audio tools already saturating the market creating a lot of redundancy. And, in their marketting, trying to move away from dropping prices as an incentive. More recently it seems plugin companies have been trying to overcome this with tools that are slightly different but still redundant (eg. Tone Projects Basslane) or so niche they are not that useful generally speaking (eg. TDR SimuLathe). This in itself is annoying as a customer. On top of that there are many annoying marketing tactics in play in an attempt to also be unique (eg. Techivation, Audialab).

I am just responding as a customer here. Don't like it. Put me on your ignore list.

Please repeat the same argument over and over again. There's hope it grows as strong as this thread's post count. :)

Plexuss I likely wouldn't recommend the products of your imaginative software company either. But I don't help them gain more visibility than they deserve. :dog: KVR has an ignore list?
