I wish Pigments (and other synths form V-Collection) could add solid low end as in Massive or Spire.
I can't get a good bass sound with it.

strange, i have quite some presets, from scratch, that deliver some bass, for several of the instruments. excellent, and deep, woofer-rrr killing presets, when mixed in too hard, sometimes...Stan Navi wrote: Tue Dec 13, 2022 6:06 pm I wish Pigments (and other synths form V-Collection) could add solid low end as in Massive or Spire.

quite a collection even...
sometimes, becomes this i read so many times, no high, no low, etc.. i ask myself; is it the genre in which you use the synths?? or other reasons.. i never eq arturia synths, don't need to (well i normally 'eq' the synth itself, without eq...), o well sometimes for, in very special cases, to serve a track. but that isn't the fault of the preset, me just lazy, to do in the synth...

Arturia is killing it lately. The fact that they keep sending out free updates is wonderful and their tech support has been fantastic. I’ve had a couple minor issues and they have been really quick on getting back to me with fixes. I still have some crashes with Analog Lab in Logic Pro with an M1 Mac but hopefully that’ll be sorted soon, or possibly with the latest update that just came out.
As for basses in Pigments, check out the tutorial on Neural Basses that Arturia posted along with an accompanying preset set.

I think the same thing. And I guess the problem is in Arturia filters, as I just heard a new preset based on the MS-20 filter and, finally, Pigments sounded interesting to me!Korg Supporter wrote: Tue Dec 13, 2022 5:46 pm Does Pigments 4 sound any better than 3? I tried 3, and it sounds bland to me, just like the Hydrasynth.
I hope they end up updating all Pigments filters. Until then, it's not my cup of tea.

This free 'pseudo-release' with actual actual new features is okay with me.Hanz Meyzer wrote: Tue Dec 13, 2022 6:32 pm What a pseudo release! Where are the actual new features?
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Bon OUI Love it
Does anybody have more info on what ARTURIA have given us in today's update for the Emulator II V, too? Pigments is getting all the attention but not the Emu sampler update?
Question to people who bought it: Does the promo discount soundset for the Wavelengths Bundle Sound Banks include new Wavetables and Samples, beyond the ones that already provided in the new 4.0 update's Factory settings?
Very cool light theme - surprised it's so slow to switch between them. Wonder are these new icons to help importing wave/WTs and samples? And for all the kvetching, for my 2¢ it is (as always) a joy to put together some sounds in Pigments. Really a powerful, yet simple intuitive pleasure to work with.
It would be nice to acces the factory loaded wav/WT/samps as easily as we can user defined assets. Where are they in OSX file directory please? S.V.P.quel'qu'un connais? Qu'est ce c'est? FA FA FA FA FA

Pigments was already a monster synth. Now it's truly turning into Godzilla
Thx alot Arturia for this crazy update. The Light theme is much welcome as well, during sunny days of synthesis. You guys are among the top right now.
